altBeing Community Owner Payment Policy

Build your community. Grow your network. Support a sustainable ecosystem.

altBeing provides community owners with the platform, tools, and resources needed to build engaged communities and support their members. Our billing structure combines an annual platform membership fee with a $5 monthly fee for each participating community member.

Community owners are responsible for collecting membership payments from their members and remitting the applicable membership fees to altBeing. These member payments are not revenue retained by the community owner.

1. Essential Membership 14-Day Trial Period

Each new "Essential" community owner receives a 14-day trial beginning on the date their community is activated. This period allows you to set up your community, add content, establish your offerings, and begin inviting prospective members.

The trial period is intended to help you prepare your community for sustainable growth. Additionally, in the event you would like AI assistance, the period allows you to upgrade your plan. It is not extendable unless altBeing agrees otherwise in writing.

2. Annual Community Owner Platform Membership

Community owners must select one of the following annual platform membership options:

$300 per year:

$1,000 per year:

Premium+ AI goes beyond community building to give you a virtual team of AI assistants built into your business toolkit. From responding to customers and creating marketing content to managing reviews, building websites and sales funnels, and automating everyday tasks, your AI Employee helps you streamline operations, save time, and grow your healing business without having to hire someone for every role.

$1,500 per year:

Let altBeing build the systems behind your wellness business—from CRM and marketing automation to your essential business infrastructure—so you can spend less time managing technology and more time serving your community and growing your impact. We’ll also train you to confidently operate your system and leverage its AI-powered tools to save valuable time, streamline your work, and reduce costs.

The annual platform membership fee is paid directly to altBeing and is separate from the $5 monthly fee assessed for each participating community member.

Your selected plan determines the platform features and services available to your community. Applicable renewal terms, taxes, and any additional charges will be disclosed as part of the purchasing process.

3. The $5 Monthly Community Member Fee

Each participating member of a community pays a $5 monthly membership fee, which supports the operation and continued development of the altBeing ecosystem.

Community owners are responsible for collecting the $5 monthly membership payment from each member and ensuring that the corresponding amount is paid to altBeing.

Although community owners collect these payments from their members, the $5 monthly membership fee is payable to altBeing and is not revenue retained by the community owner.

AltBeing invoices the community owner for the applicable $5 monthly fee for each participating member. Community owners are responsible for paying these invoices according to the applicable payment terms, regardless of whether they have successfully collected the corresponding payment from every member.

For example, a community with 20 participating members incurs a $100 monthly membership fee payable to altBeing, in addition to the community owner's annual platform membership fee.

These amounts represent the monthly member fees payable to altBeing. They do not include the separate annual platform membership fee, payment processing costs, taxes, or other applicable charges.

Community owners are responsible for communicating membership pricing and terms to their members and managing their own member billing and collection arrangements.

4. Course Membership and One-Time Payment Earnings

Community owners retain 100% of the earnings from course memberships and one-time payments, minus applicable financial processing fees.

This means community owners keep the revenue generated from selling their own courses, educational programs, digital offerings, and other eligible products or services through their community, after deduction of applicable payment processing fees charged by the payment provider.

These earnings are separate from the $5 monthly community member fee payable to altBeing and the annual platform membership fee. Community owners are not required to remit a percentage of their course membership or one-time payment earnings to altBeing under this policy.

Community owners are responsible for establishing their own pricing, communicating payment terms to customers, and managing any applicable refunds, cancellations, taxes, and customer service obligations.

Your expertise, your offerings, your earnings. altBeing provides the platform to help you share your knowledge and grow your business while allowing you to retain the earnings from your eligible course memberships and one-time sales, less applicable financial processing fees.

5. The 20-Member Community Requirement

To keep a community operational on altBeing, each community owner agrees to reach a minimum of 20 participating, paying members within three months of their initial membership - and for the months following.

If a community fails to reach or maintain the required 20-member minimum, altBeing may add on an additional $5 per members in the community until the 20-member minimum is met.

Community owners are encouraged to use available community-building, marketing, communication, and engagement tools to attract members and maintain participation.

6. Annual Platform Billing and Renewals

The annual platform membership fee is billed separately from the monthly member fees.

Community owners are responsible for paying their selected annual platform fee, as well as the $5 monthly fee for each participating member.

Annual memberships renew according to the terms disclosed at purchase. Community owners are responsible for maintaining accurate billing information and ensuring that all invoices are paid by their respective due dates.

7. Late or Outstanding Payments

AltBeing may issue payment reminders when an invoice becomes overdue.

If an annual platform fee or monthly member-fee invoice remains unpaid, altBeing may restrict access to platform features or suspend the community until the outstanding balance is resolved. Continued nonpayment may result in community termination or other lawful collection remedies, where appropriate.

Community owners remain responsible for all fees properly due under their agreement, including member fees invoiced by altBeing even when the community owner has not collected the corresponding amounts from their members.

Any suspension or termination does not eliminate outstanding financial obligations.

8. Billing Information and Member Collections

Community owners must maintain accurate billing information and authorize altBeing or its designated payment processor to charge the selected payment method for applicable platform fees and other amounts properly due.

Community owners must also maintain appropriate arrangements for collecting the $5 monthly membership payment from each member and remitting the corresponding amounts to altBeing.

9. Billing Questions and Disputes

If you believe an altBeing invoice contains an error, please notify altBeing within 10 days of the invoice date so the matter can be reviewed.

Community owners remain responsible for paying undisputed amounts while a billing question is under review.
