altBeing Terms of Service
Effective Date: November 11, 2026
Last Updated: October 20, 2026
Welcome to altBeing! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of altBeing’s websites, mobile applications, online marketplace, community platform, courses, events, and related services.
altBeing is powered by Go High Level and FatBit. Our mission is to unite a global community of mindful individuals exploring deeper balance, intuitive growth, and alternative paths to well-being.
By accessing or using altBeing, creating an account, purchasing a product or service, or establishing a community, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue using the applicable services.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use altBeing. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the platform only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian where legally permitted.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete registration and business information.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Keep your account and billing information up to date.
- Notify us promptly of unauthorized account access.
- Accept responsibility for activities conducted through your account, subject to applicable law.
- You may not impersonate another person or business, create fraudulent accounts, or misrepresent your qualifications, credentials, or professional affiliations.
2. Description of Services
altBeing provides a digital ecosystem designed to connect spiritual, holistic, metaphysical, and alternative-wellness practitioners with individuals seeking their products, services, knowledge, and communities.
Depending on your account and subscription, services may include:
- Business listings and e-commerce marketplace storefronts.
- Professional services, physical products, and digital offerings.
- Public and private communities, discussions, and member engagement.
- Online courses, educational content, livestreams, and events.
- Marketing and advertising opportunities.
- Community management, customer relationship management (CRM), and marketing automation tools.
- Website and sales-funnel building tools.
- Third-party integrations and AI-powered business features.
- We may modify, improve, add, or discontinue features from time to time. Where required by law or an applicable agreement, we will provide notice of material changes.
3. Accounts, Memberships, and Subscriptions
3.1 Public Community Access
Access to certain public altBeing community spaces may be free. Other services, specialized communities, courses, products, and business-owner tools may require payment.
Free access to one part of altBeing does not entitle you to free access to every feature or service.
3.2 Community Owner Plans
Community owners may purchase eligible annual plans or other offerings displayed at checkout or specified in a separate written agreement.
Plan features, pricing, billing frequency, trial eligibility, and applicable fees will be disclosed during enrollment or in the applicable agreement.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, an annual plan renews according to the renewal terms presented at purchase. Any applicable renewal and cancellation requirements will be communicated before you commit to the subscription.
3.3 Thirty-Day Trial
Eligible community owners receive a 14-day trial beginning on the date their community is activated.
The trial allows time to configure the community, upload content, and invite members. The trial is not extendable unless altBeing agrees otherwise in writing.
Unless your checkout terms or written agreement state otherwise, your applicable annual subscription fee becomes payable when the trial ends. Any other charges that apply during the trial will be disclosed before you incur them.
You are responsible for reviewing your billing terms and canceling within the applicable period if you do not wish to continue.
4. Payment Terms and Financial Responsibilities
4.1 Authorized Payments
By purchasing a subscription, product, service, or other paid offering, you authorize altBeing and its designated payment processors to charge your selected payment method for the amounts disclosed at checkout or otherwise agreed in writing.
You agree to maintain accurate billing information and sufficient funds or available credit to complete authorized transactions.
4.2 Community Owner Monthly Member Fee
Under altBeing’s current Community Owner Payment Policy, each community owner must offer a $5 monthly recurring membership to participating members of their community, unless a different arrangement is expressly approved by altBeing in writing.
altBeing invoices the community owner monthly for the $5 membership amount associated with each participating member.
The community owner is responsible for paying the amounts invoiced by altBeing, even if a member’s payment is late, declined, disputed, or otherwise not collected, unless altBeing agrees otherwise in writing.
Community owners must not alter, disable, or circumvent this required payment arrangement without written authorization from altBeing.
Additional membership fees, subscription charges, and plan-specific requirements may apply as disclosed in the applicable agreement.
4.3 Marketplace, Course, and Transaction Fees
Purchases made through altBeing may be subject to platform fees, payment-processing fees, applicable taxes, and other charges disclosed during checkout or in the applicable seller agreement.
The fees applicable to a particular transaction depend on the product, service, subscription, or community-owner plan involved. Your checkout information and applicable written agreement control the specific charges.
Community owners are responsible for understanding the fees applicable to their offerings and for complying with applicable tax and financial reporting requirements.
4.4 Third-Party Payment Providers and Financing
altBeing may use third-party payment processors, including Stripe, and may offer financing or installment-payment options through providers such as Klarna where available.
Transactions processed through these providers may also be subject to their separate terms, eligibility requirements, fees, and privacy policies.
altBeing does not control third-party financing decisions, credit approvals, or payment-provider services. You are responsible for reviewing and accepting any applicable third-party terms before proceeding.
4.5 Late Payments and Account Restrictions
If a payment becomes overdue, altBeing may send a reminder requesting payment.
If the balance remains unpaid, altBeing may, to the extent permitted by law and the applicable agreement:
Temporarily pause your community or restrict access to community features.
Restrict paid tools, subscriptions, or other services.
Apply additional fees where expressly authorized by the applicable agreement and permitted by law.
Suspend or terminate the account if the balance remains unpaid.
Pursue lawful collection remedies, including referral to a third-party collection agency.
Suspension does not cancel outstanding payment obligations or eliminate amounts already owed.
4.6 Billing Questions and Disputes
If you believe an invoice is incorrect, contact altBeing within 10 days of the invoice date and provide sufficient information for us to review the issue.
You remain responsible for undisputed amounts while a billing question is under review. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law.
4.7 Taxes
You are responsible for applicable taxes associated with your purchases, sales, or business activities, except for taxes that altBeing is legally required to pay itself.
Where required, altBeing or its payment providers may calculate, collect, report, or remit taxes associated with transactions.
4.8 Refunds and Cancellations
Refund eligibility depends on the type of purchase, the applicable checkout terms, any separate seller policy, and applicable law.
Unless otherwise stated or required by law, purchases of digital products, completed services, consumed course content, and subscription periods already provided may not be refundable.
Subscription cancellation generally prevents future renewals but does not automatically entitle you to a refund of prior payments or cancel outstanding balances.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any refund, withdrawal, cancellation, or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. Community Owner Responsibilities
Community owners are responsible for the communities, businesses, products, services, and content they publish or offer through altBeing.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate descriptions of your business, qualifications, offerings, and pricing.
- Obtain any licenses, permits, insurance, and professional credentials required for your activities.
- Deliver products, services, courses, and experiences as advertised.
- Communicate clearly with customers about scheduling, fulfillment, cancellations, refunds, and other material terms.
- Obtain all necessary rights and permissions for content, images, recordings, and other materials you upload.
- Comply with applicable consumer-protection, privacy, advertising, tax, and business laws.
- Respond appropriately to customer inquiries, complaints, and legitimate transaction issues.
- Maintain appropriate safeguards for customer information and account access.
- Community owners must not make deceptive, fraudulent, or unsupported claims about their products, services, credentials, or outcomes.
- Meeting the platform’s onboarding requirements or having a listing published does not guarantee commercial success, a particular number of members, sales, revenue, or customer conversions.
5.1 Community Owner Eligibility and Performance Requirements
Certain community-owner programs may impose additional requirements, such as minimum paid-member targets, onboarding milestones, annual fees, or other participation conditions.
Any such requirement must be communicated in the applicable plan description, onboarding materials, or separate written agreement. Where those documents establish a specific deadline or consequence, they apply to the relevant program.
6. Marketplace Transactions and Third-Party Providers
altBeing provides a platform for discovering and connecting with independent practitioners, sellers, educators, and community owners.
Unless expressly identified as the provider, altBeing is not the seller of third-party products or the direct provider of third-party professional services.
Each seller or practitioner is responsible for the accuracy, legality, quality, safety, and fulfillment of their own offerings.
Before purchasing, customers should review the seller’s description, credentials, policies, pricing, and other relevant information.
altBeing does not guarantee that every seller’s qualifications, claims, products, or services are independently verified. We may review applications, listings, and content and may remove or restrict offerings that violate our policies or pose a reasonable risk to users.
Disputes between customers and independent providers should first be directed to the relevant provider. altBeing may assist with dispute resolution at its discretion but is not obligated to resolve every dispute.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies available under applicable law.
7. Spiritual, Wellness, and Educational Disclaimer
altBeing supports a broad range of spiritual, metaphysical, holistic, and alternative-wellness practices. Content and services offered through the platform may include energy work, intuitive practices, traditional or alternative wellness approaches, personal development, and educational experiences.
altBeing does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or financial advice merely by hosting or facilitating access to third-party content or services.
Information and experiences offered through altBeing are not substitutes for appropriate professional advice, diagnosis, treatment, or care.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, altBeing does not endorse or guarantee the effectiveness, safety, accuracy, or outcomes of any particular modality, practitioner, product, or service.
Practitioners and sellers must not make false, deceptive, or unlawful health claims. Users should consult appropriately qualified professionals when making decisions affecting their health, safety, or finances.
You are responsible for evaluating whether a service or offering is appropriate for your circumstances.
8. User Content and Intellectual Property
8.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create and submit to altBeing, subject to any rights you have already granted to others.
By submitting content to the platform, you grant altBeing a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and technically adapt that content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, promote, and improve the services.
This license continues only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes, subject to applicable legal obligations, backup systems, and any separate agreement.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit and authorize the use of your content.
8.2 altBeing Intellectual Property
The altBeing name, logos, branding, website design, software, original platform materials, and other proprietary assets are owned by or licensed to altBeing and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or commercially exploit altBeing’s intellectual property without prior written authorization, except as permitted by law.
8.3 Copyright Complaints
If you believe material on altBeing infringes your copyright or other intellectual-property rights, contact us with sufficient information to identify the material, establish your rights, and explain the alleged infringement.
We may remove or restrict allegedly infringing material and take appropriate action against repeat infringers.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use altBeing for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive purposes.
- Harass, threaten, exploit, or discriminate against other users.
- Publish defamatory, infringing, or unauthorized content.
- Sell prohibited, illegal, counterfeit, or unsafe products.
- Misrepresent professional qualifications or make deceptive health claims.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or private information.
- Distribute malware, spam, or malicious code.
- Scrape, copy, or harvest user information without authorization.
- Interfere with platform security, functionality, or availability.
- Circumvent payment requirements, transaction fees, or account restrictions.
- Use AI tools or platform features to generate unlawful, deceptive, or harmful material.
- We may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate action, including removing content, restricting features, suspending accounts, or terminating access.
10. AI-Powered Features
Certain altBeing plans may provide access to AI-powered tools for customer communications, content creation, website building, marketing, workflow automation, and related business functions.
AI-generated material may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your intended purpose.
You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before publishing it, sending it to customers, or relying on it to make business decisions.
AI tools do not guarantee increased sales, reduced expenses, accurate customer communications, regulatory compliance, or any specific business outcome.
Usage limits, additional charges, third-party provider terms, and feature availability may apply. Any pay-as-you-go charges will be governed by the applicable pricing and authorization terms.
You must not submit personal, confidential, or sensitive information to AI tools unless you have the necessary rights and the applicable service permits such use.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of altBeing is subject to our applicable Privacy Policy, which should explain how personal information is collected, used, disclosed, retained, and protected.
Community owners are responsible for handling member and customer information in compliance with applicable privacy and data-protection laws.
You must not collect, disclose, sell, or use personal information obtained through altBeing for unauthorized purposes.
If you connect third-party applications or services, their own privacy policies and terms may apply.
12. Third-Party Services and Integrations
altBeing may integrate with or link to third-party platforms, including payment providers, course platforms, community applications, website tools, and marketing services.
These services may be governed by separate terms and policies. altBeing does not control the availability, security, functionality, or policies of independent third-party providers.
We are not responsible for third-party services to the extent permitted by law, except where our own obligations or responsibilities apply.
13. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using altBeing at any time, subject to your contractual payment obligations and applicable cancellation requirements.
altBeing may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access if:
- You violate these Terms or an applicable agreement.
- You fail to pay amounts properly due.
- You engage in fraudulent, unlawful, or harmful conduct.
- Your account creates a material security, legal, or operational risk.
- We discontinue a service in accordance with applicable law and contractual obligations.
- Where reasonably practicable, we may provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue before taking action. Immediate restrictions may be necessary in cases involving serious risk, suspected fraud, security threats, or legal requirements.
- Upon termination, access to certain content, communities, tools, or services may end. Outstanding payment obligations survive termination.
- You should retain copies of content and records you need before closing your account. Any retention, export, or deletion of personal information remains subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
14. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, altBeing provides its platform and services on an “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, compatibility with every device or integration, or any particular commercial, educational, spiritual, or wellness outcome.
We do not guarantee the conduct, qualifications, performance, or representations of independent users, practitioners, sellers, or community owners.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, altBeing and its owners, affiliates, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, or data arising from your use of the platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, altBeing’s aggregate liability for claims arising out of or relating to the services will be limited to the amount you paid directly to altBeing for the relevant service during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including any liability that applicable law requires us to retain.
16. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless altBeing and its owners, affiliates, employees, and service providers against third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal expenses arising from your unlawful conduct, your violation of these Terms, your infringement of another party’s rights, or your products, services, or content.
This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from altBeing’s own conduct or where indemnification would otherwise be prohibited by law.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business operations, or legal obligations.
We will update the “Last Updated” date when revisions are published and provide additional notice where required by law.
Changes will take effect as stated in the notice or as otherwise required by law. Where required, we will obtain your consent before applying material changes to an existing agreement.
Your continued use of altBeing after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where legally permitted. If you do not agree to a change, you should discontinue the affected service and follow the applicable cancellation process.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are subject to applicable laws governing consumer and business transactions.
Any provision selecting a governing law, requiring arbitration, or specifying a court must comply with applicable consumer-protection laws and any mandatory rights in the user's jurisdiction.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from exercising a non-waivable right to bring a claim before a competent authority or court.
19. General Provisions
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
A failure to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent, except where applicable law provides otherwise. altBeing may transfer its rights and obligations in connection with a lawful corporate reorganization, merger, or sale of relevant business assets, subject to applicable law.
These Terms, together with applicable checkout disclosures, the Privacy Policy, the Payment Policy, and any separate written agreement, govern your use of the relevant altBeing services. If provisions conflict, the applicable mandatory law controls; otherwise, the specific written agreement or transaction terms will govern the subject matter they expressly address.
